Retiring Scents

Here is the list of the "Retiring Scents" from 2008 FOR 2009.

The company takes the bottom 12 scents that sold the least and retires those scents to make room for 2009 and the 12 COTM scents for that year.

The following are the scents that will be retiring:

Apples and Peaches
Apricot Freesia
Cotton Candy
Ginger and Cedarwood
Hollyberry
Mountain Pine (still available as Christmas Pine)
Norwegian Wood (still available as Night Before Christmas)
Orange Creamsicle
Peppermint Truffle
Tequila Sunrise
White Chocolate and Coffee

The company still carries perfume for these scents. Retirement means they will not order any more perfume. Once the stock is gone the candle will be take out of circulation fully.

If any on this list are your favorite, now is the time to stock up!

Got Courage?

Are you a person of good character? Do you stay true, noble and honorable to your principles and values? If you answered yes to both of these questions...you've got courage!

When you have courage, you search to provide value in all you do and say!

1. You do what's right. You follow your conscience and refuse to compromise yourself or your principles despite outside pressures and temptations.
   
2. You also aren't afraid to take a stand against what's wrong. You don't mind speaking out when you see others doing things that are just not right.

There is no questions about it, both of these actions require strength, guts, and most of all courage. If you are a person who practices these actions, you are truly a courageous person. Today, let us all think bout these simple questions:

How courageous can I be?

Courage is....

• Refusing to take part in hurting or disrespecting others.
• Being honest with yourself and others -- even if others don't agree with you.
• Following the rules and expecting others to follow the rules also.
• Searching for better ways to do things...challenge yourself & others.
• Doing what is right even if there are risks and consequences to be suffered.
• Following your instincts and not just "following the crowd".
• Being accountable for your actions both good and bad.

I don't know about you, but I am ready to be courageous in 2009. The world is filled with so much possibility. I don't want to let any opportunity pass me by.

Candle of the Month - Wildflowers

The Christmas decorations are down and packed away and I'm ready to move on to Spring. Aren't you????

Well, guess what arrived on my door yesterday? My Candle of the Month package. Ahhh...the fresh smell of Spring. Sweet floral notes with enriching green and airy notes. A perfect wildflower garden.
